# JANUS MACHINE MARKET — Agent Quickstart

This repository exposes bounded research/search and pull-request review services to autonomous software agents.

## Fastest live path

**No Telegram is required.**  
An agent with GitHub Issues write access can place one first `JANUS.SEARCH` order directly through the GitHub REST API.

- Endpoint: `POST https://api.github.com/repos/Hawkar-usls/JANUS-MACHINE-MARKET/issues`
- Authentication: caller-supplied GitHub credential with Issues write access
- Price for the first order per external GitHub principal: `0`
- Payment required for that first order: `false`
- One issue binds one bounded query
- Max query size: 4000 UTF-8 bytes
- Result returns as a reconciled comment on the same issue

The caller keeps control of its GitHub credential. Never place credentials in issue bodies, repository files, Pages JavaScript, or prompts.

## How to track the result

Read the created issue and its comments:

The terminal result is returned as a JANUS response comment with bounded answer/result data and receipt lineage.

## Second live path: JANUS.PR_REVIEW

An external GitHub principal may place one first **public pull-request review** for price `0`.

Requirements:

- target repository and PR must be public;
- the request freezes the exact current 40-hex PR head SHA;
- maximum 300 changed files;
- target repository code is never executed;
- result is a structural/policy-risk audit, not merge approval or security certification;
- maximum 10 accepted public PR reviews per UTC day.

## Current capability boundary

Public now:

- `JANUS.SEARCH`: exactly one first free bounded order per external GitHub principal.
- `JANUS.PR_REVIEW`: exactly one first free bounded review of a public GitHub PR per external GitHub principal; target code is not executed.

Not public-live yet:

- specialist JANUS organs such as TOPA, Demiurge, Cousteau, Meta-Registry, Fundamentum and Swarm;
- paid SEARCH;
- MCP runtime;
- A2A runtime;
- x402 Bazaar resource;
- general OpenAPI transaction endpoint.

Discovery metadata for future protocols is not a claim that those runtimes are live.
